Working with third party shippers, we rely on them 100% to deliver our product in a prompt professional way, mistakes happen and here is what you can expect if something goes wrong:
Since we have no control of the weather, FedEx does not cover claims on weather delays, we unfortunately are in the same boat and are unable to issue refunds because of weather delays, but will ensure that you suffer no out of pocket loss and will issue a store credit or reship a box at no additional cost, whichever you prefer.
Box Doesn't Arrive Due to FedEx or Crab Dynasty's Error
We will refund your money, hold a store credit or reship another box, whichever you prefer.
My Package Arrived, But the Product Has an Issue
Since seafood is perishable, you must report any discovered issues within 48 hrs upon receipt for in order to qualify for a return of your product. Contact Us.
Depending on the nature of your claim, Crab Dynasty may do one of the following:
Within 48 hrs, you also have the option to return your product(s) for a full refund. If you decide to return your order, we do not offer return shipping service back to us. You can use an an economical shipper of choice. If we issue a store credit to rectify the issue, the store credit is good for the same product offered (no product substitutions).
Having a success rate of 99.7% of all orders shipped without issue, Crab Dynasty wants to make sure that you are satisfied with your seafood experience!
For Ground Shipping
FedEx Ground is only available to certain areas (see delivery map). Due to the nature of shipping perishables, we cannot offer ground shipping outside the pink or blue areas of the map. Ground shipments are usually sent the same day if received prior to the cutoff time, or the next business day if received after the cutoff time on the day that the order was placed. Once shipped, your seafood will take approximately 1-2 days to arrive. Ground shipments may arrive any day between Tuesday-Saturday. If you would like to request delivery on a particular day, please leave a note in the special comments box at checkout or select an overnight delivery option. There is no additional surcharge for FedEx Ground Home Delivery when delivered on Saturday.
For Overnight Shipping
You have the option to select FedEx Standard Overnight (delivery usually by 8:00 PM) as well as FedEx Priority Overnight (delivery usually between 10:30 AM - 4:30 PM). In some remote areas, it is possible that FedEx Priority Overnight is the only available option (delivery time could be end of the day). With FedEx Overnight shipping, you have the option to specify a delivery day in which you would like to receive your order. You can schedule delivery for up to 4 weeks in advance for that special occasion.
No Sundays or Mondays
FedEx does not deliver on Sundays or Mondays, regular delivery is Tuesday-Saturday. Priority Overnight is required for Saturday delivery with a $15 Saturday surcharge. Home delivery service is available anywhere East of the Mississippi at no addition charge for Saturday delivery. *They are only committed by that day no specific time is given*
Packing of OrdersJust about all of our products are perishable. We custom hand pack each order using special seafood transport coolers along with special ice packs that will keep your seafood cool for up to 48 hrs.
Ordering and Cut-Off Time
Our cut-off time for ordering is 2:30 PM Eastern Standard Time (EST) on the days of Monday-Friday. Any order placed for hard crabs will need to be in by 1:30 PM EST or they will ship out next shipping day. For special shipping arrangements, please call us for shipping availability or to place a phone order during our operational business hours of 9:00 AM-5:00 PM EST Monday-Friday. Internet orders can be placed 24 hrs. per day, 7 days per week.
Shipping ProviderWe use FedEx Ground and FedEx Overnight shipping service. Upon shipping your order, a tracking number will be sent to the e-mail address provided at the time of your order. For specific shipping information pertaining to tracking your order in transit, you can visit the FedEx website at www.fedex.com, or call them toll-free at 1-800-GO-FEDEX.
Crab Dynasty does not offer International Shipping - Crab Dynasty only ships seafood within the United States.
Delivery on Saturday is provided to most locations, and your order may ship using FedEx Home Delivery (designated areas as assigned on the shipping map) or FedEx Priority Overnight delivery. For Saturday Overnight Delivery, a $15 surcharge will apply. Please call to check the availability of Saturday Delivery if you reside in a rural area. Please note that FedEx Home Delivery does not carry any additional charge.
Live and Steamed Crabs
Because of the high mortality rate of live seafood, live crabs must ship using FedEx overnight only. Steamed crabs can be shipped using FedEx Home Delivery Ground (where available) or Overnight depending on your location.
If Ordering More than a Bushel of CrabsIf you are ordering more than a bushel of steamed or live crabs, each order must be separately using the website or by calling us to place your order. An applicable shipping charge will be applied to each separate order.
Weather, seasonal sources, and the supply of seafood changes constantly (which is beyond our control). On a rare occasion, a seafood item might not be available or in short supply after placing your order. If this occurs, we will contact you to make adjustments or to make other arrangements.
If ordering a gift card, your card will be sent via e-mail or mailed by United States Postal Service.
