    Alaskan Snow Crab Mac and Cheese

    1 lb. of elbow macaroni
    1 stick of butter broken into small pieces
    1 tsp salt
    ½ tsp black ground pepper
    3 tsp minced garlic
    1 Tbsp. chives
    ¼ c. flour
    2 tsp for fresh squeezed lemon juice
    3 c. light cream
    8 oz. Havarti shredded cheese
    8 oz. Gruyere shredded cheese
    4 oz. of shredded cheddar cheese
    1.5 c. Panko style bread crumb

    1. Preheat stove to 350 degrees, and coat a 9x13 baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
    2. Bring an extensive pot of salted water to a boil, and cook pasta until it is somewhat firm.  Rise and put aside.
    3. In that same pot, dissolve 1/2 stick of butter along with the garlic.  Combine flour and whisk over medium-low heat.  Add lemon juice and half & half, keep on whisking, ensuring that there are no lumps.  Blend will start to thicken. 
    4. Remove from hat and gradually blend in the three cheeses, include the chives, salt and pepper.
    5. Fold in crab meat and pasta.  Fill baking dish with mixture.
    6. In a little container, dissolve the other 1/2 stick of margarine.  Blend in panko morsels and coat with margarine.  Sprinkle over pasta.
