    The majority of our products are perishable. Each order is hand-packed and shipped in a seafood transport cooler with ice packs that will keep your seafood cool for up to 48 hours.


    Preparing Seafood


    Q: How Do I Safely Prepare Shellfish?

    A: Cook shellfish thoroughly before consuming. We recommend not eating raw or undercooked shellfish.

    You can eat oysters raw or prepare them steamed, boiled, baked, fried, or stuffed, as well as make stews and chowders. Live clam preparations include steaming, boiling, baking or frying.


    Q: How Many Maryland Crabs Should I Order For Each Person?

    A: Generally, a bushel of crabs can feed about eight people. Order about six crabs per person if serving multiple main courses, or 8-12 per person if serving crabs alone.


    Q: How Many Alaskan Crab Legs Should I Order?

    A: We will package your order of 1, 5, or 10 pounds of Alaskan king crab legs. Approximately 2 to 3 large king crab legs or 1 to 2 jumbo king crab legs yield 1 pound of meat. We deliver our Alaskan snow crab legs directly to your door and are available in 3-, 6-, or 9-pound sizes.


    Q: How Many Gulf Shrimp Should I Order?


    A: Because we individually package all orders, you can choose between 1 and 5 pounds of fresh, delectable Gulf shrimp. Our fresh Gulf shrimp can be refrigerated and enjoyed for up to 3 days, or you can freeze them. Ensure your frozen shrimp retains its texture, consistency, and flavor by consuming them within three months of freezing.

    A: Orders over $200 are eligible for free ground shipping. You can compare your shipping options at checkout or find them here.


    Q: How Will My Order Ship?

    A: Crab Dynasty partners with UPS to offer fresh seafood delivery to your door. We will send a tracking number to the email address provided at the time of your order once your order ships. You can track your recent orders on our Order Status page or the UPS website.

    We deliver to all 50 states. Additional delivery charges may apply for orders to AK and HI.


    Q: How Long Does It Take For My Order To Ship?

    A: We ship via UPS Ground, 2nd Day Air, and Next Day Air. You will receive your order within 1 to 2 days, depending on the products in your order.

    You have the option to select a preferred delivery date during checkout. Regular deliveries are made Tuesdays through Saturdays.


    Q: What Is The Same-Day Shipping Cut-Off Time?


    A: Our cut-off time for same-day shipping is 3:00 pm EST, Monday through Friday. Contact us if you require special shipping arrangements or to place an order over the phone. If no one is available to take your call, you can email us sales@crabdynasty.com and we will get back with you shortly.  Our customer service team is available during our operational business hours, 9:00 am to 4:00 pm EST, Monday through Friday.

    Q: How Do You Ship Live Crabs?

    A: Because of the high mortality rate of live seafood and to ensure your order is delivered fresh, live crabs are shipped using 1-day shipping services, either 1-Day Ground or Next Day Air. Considering the fragile nature of live crabs, we add extra crabs to each order to ensure you have plenty to serve at your table.
