The following times are your general rule of thumb for typical cooking times: 10 mins. per inch of fish, 5 mins. per inch of fish cooked in a sauce, 20 mins. per inch of fish if frozen. Mostly any fish can be baked, broiled, fried, grilled, or steamed. Since each fish meat is different, periodically check the cooking fish with a fork until it breaks apart or becomes flaky in texture when fish is done.
